AN ACT CONCERNING RESTORING MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT LEVELS FOR EMERGENCY AMBULANCE TRANSPORTATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of Social Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013, and annually thereafter, to restore Medicaid reimbursement levels for emergency ambulance transportation for Medicaid recipients to those levels of reimbursement that existed on December 31, 2010.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide badly needed funds for emergency medical transportation providers.
