AN ACT CONCERNING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A RIFLE OR SHOTGUN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish the same background check and record-keeping requirements for each sale of a rifle or shotgun as are currently provided for each sale of a pistol or revolver, and extend such requirements to all secondary and private sales of such long guns, including all sales at gun shows.
