AN ACT PROHIBITING THE POSSESSION, IMPORTATION, TRANSFER OR SALE OF CERTAIN TYPES OF UNREASONABLY DANGEROUS AMMUNITION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 53-202l of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the possession, importation, transfer or sale of all armor piercing bullets and incendiary bullets, rather than only .50 caliber bullets as currently provided.

Statement of Purpose: 

To promote public safety by prohibiting the possession, importation, transfer or sale of all armor piercing bullets and incendiary bullets, rather than only .50 caliber bullets as currently provided.
