AN ACT CONCERNING THE FEE FOR ISSUANCE AND RENEWAL OF A STATE PERMIT TO CARRY A PISTOL OR REVOLVER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 29-30 of the general statutes be amended to (1) increase the fee for each state permit issued under the provisions of subsection (b) of section 29-28 of the general statutes for the carrying of pistols and revolvers to three hundred dollars, (2) allow one hundred fifty dollars of such fee to be retained by the local authority, and (3) increase the fee for each renewal of such permit to one hundred fifty dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the fees for issuance and renewal of a state permit to carry a pistol or revolver.
