AN ACT CONCERNING INCENTIVES FOR TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide economic incentives and assistance, including, but not limited to, tax abatement, grants, loan programs and infrastructure improvements, to transit-oriented development projects located near two or more methods of mass transit, including railroads, highways, bus service or ferries.
Statement of Purpose:
To foster development around methods mass transit.
