AN ACT CONCERNING A SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT IN ENFIELD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 10-283 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Construction Services pursuant to said section 10-283 requiring that no school building project shall be added to the priority list, the high school consolidation school building project of Enfield High School and Enrico Fermi High School in Enfield is included on the 2013 priority list and shall be eligible to be subsequently considered for a grant commitment from the state, provided Enfield files an application for a school building project prior to June 30, 2013, and meets all other provisions of chapter 173 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Construction Services.
Statement of Purpose:
To include the high school consolidation school building project in Enfield to the 2013 priority list.
