AN ACT CONCERNING THE DATE OF SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONICALLY-SUBMITTED SALES TAX RECEIPTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Revenue Services to accept electronically-submitted sales tax receipts on the same day that a post-marked receipt would be accepted.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow businesses to submit sales tax receipts electronically on the same day that the Department of Revenue Services will accept a postmark.
