AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to study the impact of repealing the Citizens' Election Program in order to provide a decrease in the motor vehicle fuels tax.

Statement of Purpose: 

To study the impact of repealing the Citizens' Election Program to use the revenue to offset other tax cuts, including a cut to the gasoline tax.
