AN ACT CONCERNING MINOR PARTIES AND TRANSPARENCY OF ELECTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 153 of the general statutes be amended to require minor parties to establish by-laws and procedures regarding the formation of parties and the nomination of candidates that are similar to the requirements for major parties.
Statement of Purpose:
To require minor parties to establish by-laws and procedures regarding the formation of parties and the nomination of candidates that are similar to the requirements for major parties in order to provide for better transparency of elections.
