AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTIONS ADMINISTRATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to require the registrars of voters to report directly to the town clerk on all prescribed duties, grant the town clerk authority to determine the staffing levels and budget allotments for elections, and empower the Secretary of the State to require and coordinate training for moderators and other poll workers.

Statement of Purpose: 

To improve the integrity of elections by enhancing training and streamlining elections administration.
