AN ACT CONCERNING NOTIFICATION PROVIDED TO AN AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE POLICYHOLDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require insurance companies that issue, renew, amend or endorse automobile insurance policies in this state to notify a policyholder when a claim has been filed against such policyholder's automobile insurance policy and to allow the policyholder to contest such claim.
Statement of Purpose:
