AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR FALSE STATEMENT OR INFORMATION IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OR TRANSFER OF FIREARMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 29-34 and 29-37e of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalties for making a false statement or giving false information connected with the purchase, sale, delivery or other transfer of a pistol, revolver or other firearm.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the penalty for making a false statement or giving false information to obtain a pistol, revolver or other firearm.
