2323 AN ACT CONCERNING THE SEXUAL OFFENDER REGISTRY.

2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2727 That the general statutes be amended to (1) allow individuals required to register as sexual offenders with the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection to appeal such registration requirement, and (2) prohibit parole officers from registering parolees as sexual offenders unless specifically authorized to do so by the Board of Pardons and Parole.
