AN ACT CONCERNING CASINO WINDFALLS AND CHILD SUPPORT SHORTFALLS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require any casino operated within the state to withhold a certain portion of an individuals' winnings if such individual is found to have current outstanding child support obligations.

Statement of Purpose: 

To create a mechanism that would allow for the interception of funds from parents who owe child support payments and have substantial winnings at casinos.
