AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PILOT PROGRAM TO INSTALL CLASS I RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES AT CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program for the installation of Class I renewable energy projects at not more than two correctional facilities in the state. Statement of Purpose: To increase the use of Class I renewable energy sources at correctional facilities in order to achieve savings and maximize efficiency.
