| 25 | 25 | That section 54-65c of the general statutes be amended to require the court to vacate an order forfeiting a bail bond, and release a professional bondsman, surety bail bond agent and insurer from the bail bond, if (1) the principal on the bail bond is detained or incarcerated in another state, territory or country, (2) the state's attorney decides to seek extradition of the principal, and (3) the bondsman, agent or insurer has agreed to reimburse the Division of Criminal Justice for the costs of extradition. | |
