AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONNECTICUT UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
To amend the general statutes to eliminate references to federal standards in the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act and to codify the pre-1980 Federal Trade Commission standard.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers and small businesses.
