AN ACT ALLOWING ADULT ADOPTED PERSONS TO ACCESS THEIR ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-53 of the general statutes be amended to allow an adopted person, twenty-one years of age or older, to access his or her original birth certificate.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow adopted adults to access their original birth records.
