AN ACT PROVIDING A STATE GRANT IN LIEU OF TAXES FOR THE NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE NEW LONDON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide a state grant in lieu of taxes to the town of Groton with respect to the Naval Submarine Base New London.
Statement of Purpose:
That the town of Groton receive a state grant in lieu of taxes as reimbursement for the loss of property tax on such property.
