AN ACT CONCERNING AN AGREEMENT AMONG THE STATES TO ELECT THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES BY NATIONAL POPULAR VOTE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide for an agreement adopted among the states to elect the President of the United States by the national popular vote.

Statement of Purpose: 

To ensure that the President of the United States is the candidate who receives the most votes in the entire United States.
