AN ACT REQUIRING CERTAIN CONTACT INFORMATION IN DEEDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require, for any deed recorded on the land records, that the grantee include a physical address at which such grantee may be contacted and the grantee's most recent previous physical address in addition to the address of the real property being acquired.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist municipalities with notifying property owners of problems with their property, including blight.
