2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2014) The Commissioner of the Department of Children and Families, in consultation with the Commissioner of Social Services, shall, within available appropriations, establish a program to evaluate the well-being of children throughout the state. The commissioners shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such program to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to children on or before February 1, 2014.
