2424 AN ACT CONCERNING GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM AND THE REGIONAL COMMUNITY-TECHNICAL COLLEGE SYSTEM.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2013) The Board of Regents for Higher Education shall study the different graduation requirements of each public institution of higher education in the Connecticut State University System and the regional community-technical college system, including the number of academic credits students in each certificate and degree program must earn in order to earn a certificate or degree and graduate from such institution of higher education. Not later than January 1, 2014, the president of the Board of Regents for Higher Education shall report on such study, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education.
