AN ACT CONCERNING A PHASE-OUT OF THE HOSPITALS TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 211a of the general statutes be amended to phase out the hospitals tax over five years, beginning July 1, 2014.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of health care in Connecticut, improve access to services, and retain jobs.
