AN ACT TO RESTORE FUNDING TO THE PUBLIC, EDUCATIONAL AND GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMMING AND EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT ACCOUNT AND ELIMINATE THE EARNED INCOME CREDIT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That funding for the public, educational and governmental programming and education technology investment account be restored, and that the cost of such restored funding be offset by eliminating the earned income tax credits allowed under section 12-704e of the 2014 supplement to the general statutes.

Statement of Purpose: 

To restore funding to the public, educational and governmental programming and education technology investment account.
