AN ACT CONCERNING INDOOR AIR QUALITY AT ICE HOCKEY RINKS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 2015, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection shall study the need to regulate indoor air quality at ice hockey rinks and, in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes, submit a report to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the environment concerning such study. Such study shall include, but not be limited to, an examination of the effects of any ice smoothing or ice cleaning machinery used at such ice hockey rinks on the quality of indoor air at such ice hockey rinks.
