AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN PENSION INCOME FROM INCOME TAXATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from income tax any pension earnings under one hundred thousand dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To make Connecticut more friendly to retirees by exempting certain pensions from income tax.
