2121 AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXEMPTION FROM SALES AND USE TAX OF CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to restore the clothing and footwear exemption fourteen months earlier than scheduled, beginning April 1, 2014. One hundred sixty-seven million six hundred thousand dollars from the state's excess revenue shall be dedicated to pay for restoring the exemption.
