AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL FIREARM PERMITTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to opt out of issuing temporary state permits for carrying any pistol or revolver and to require the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to issue such permits.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce expenses to municipalities.
