16 | 28 | Section 1. Subsection (b) of section 17b-106 of the 2014 supplement to the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2014): | |

18 | - | (b) Effective July 1, [2011] 2014, the commissioner shall provide a state supplement payment for recipients of Medicaid and the federal Supplemental Security Income Program who reside in long-term care facilities sufficient to increase their personal needs allowance to [sixty] seventy-two dollars per month. On and after July 1, 2015, the commissioner shall increase such allowance annually in accordance with Social Security cost-of-living adjustments, if any such adjustments are | |
