2424 AN ACT CONCERNING STATE PARTY FEDERAL ACCOUNTS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2014) (a) No treasurer of a federal account, as defined in section 9-601 of the general statutes, of a state party, shall make an expenditure that benefits a state central committee for the purposes of staff, office space or other permissible expenditure that exceeds fifty per cent of the total costs associated with such expenditure.

3030 (b) Any such treasurer making an expenditure pursuant to subsection (a) of this section shall itemize the expenditure and include the percentage of the total costs associated with such expenditure paid from the federal account as part of any statement filed pursuant to section 9-608 of the general statutes.
