2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That subsection (b) of section 16-32h of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority from allowing electric distribution companies and gas companies to recover, by means of utility rates, any costs incurred in vegetation management, tree trimming, or the maintenance, improvement or repair of utility infrastructure resulting from actual or anticipated storm event damage.
