AN ACT CONCERNING THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE BY MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 1-2 of the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to publish in the newspaper a limited description of the matter being noticed and a reference to a municipality's Internet web site where the public may obtain additional information about such matter.
Statement of Purpose:
To save municipalities money by allowing them to post information on a web site rather than having it printed in a newspaper.
