24 | 24 | AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGIONAL DELIVERY OF SMALL BUSINESS EXPRESS FUNDS. | |

26 | 26 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

28 | 28 | That section 32-7g of the general statutes be amended to establish a regionally administered component to the Small Business Express program, which shall allow regional economic development agencies to (1) review applications for financial assistance under said program, (2) recommend the terms and conditions of proposed financial assistance packages, and (3) forward such proposed financial assistance packages to the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development for approval or rejection. Twenty per cent of the funds available under the Small Business Express program shall be reserved for financial assistance to be awarded under the regionally administered component. | |
