AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID BUDGET REPORTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to require that the calculation of general budget expenditures include the full cost of Medicaid programs without deductions for anticipated federal reimbursements.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that budget calculations reflect the full cost of Medicaid programs for determining compliance with the state constitutional spending cap.
