AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX CREDIT FOR FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit for first-time homebuyers that mirrors the federal First-Time Homebuyer Credit.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a tax credit for first-time homebuyers in order to encourage the purchase of homes in the state.
