AN ACT REPEALING SAME-DAY VOTER REGISTRATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-19j of the general statutes be amended to replace provisions allowing for voter registration on election day with provisions allowing for voter registration on the Friday before election day.
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal election day registration and implement such registration on the Friday before election day.
