AN ACT RESTRICTING THE USE OF PUBLIC ASSISTANCE BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit recipients of public assistance from engaging in electronic benefit transfers at liquor stores, casino or gaming establishments and retail establishments providing adult entertainment.
Statement of Purpose:
To align state statutes with federal law concerning the use of public assistance.
