AN ACT CONCERNING MANAGING MEDICAID CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a task force to study issues concerning improving Medicaid cost efficiencies and quality of care, including, but not limited to, an analysis of the benefits of adopting a reimbursement model based on acuity of patient care needs.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve quality of care and cost efficiencies in the Medicaid program.
