AN ACT REQUIRING NOTICE OF NURSING HOME RESIDENT ABUSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-451 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to immediately notify relatives or other persons designated to receive such notice of any substantiated abuse of a nursing home resident.
Statement of Purpose:
To require immediate notification of substantiated nursing home abuse claims.
