30 | 30 | That section 53-39a of the general statutes be amended to provide that when a law enforcement officer is cleared of criminal wrongdoing alleged to have occurred in the course of the officer's employment, the officer shall be indemnified by the governmental unit that charged or prosecuted him or her for all economic loss sustained by him or her as a result of the criminal prosecution. | |
