AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF REVENUE FROM THE PROPERTY TAX ON MOTOR VEHICLES FOR MUNICIPAL TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to direct revenue collected from property tax on motor vehicles to the municipality where the tax was collected and to require the municipality to use such revenue solely for the purpose of implementing transportation infrastructure improvements within the municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
