AN ACT IMPOSING A TWO-YEAR MORATORIUM ON TUITION INCREASES AT PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to impose a two-year moratorium on tuition increases at the public institutions of higher education in this state.

Statement of Purpose: 

To give college students and their parents relief from the increasing costs of higher education.
