AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES IN THE SAME PLACES WHERE SMOKING IS PROHIBITED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-342 of the general statutes be amended to include the use of electronic cigarettes in the definition of "smoking".
Statement of Purpose:
To support public health and close a loophole in the smoking ban by prohibiting the use of electronic cigarettes in the same places where smoking is prohibited.
