2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Consumer Protection, in consultation with the Department of Public Health, to develop a consumer education campaign to inform consumers of the possibility that food products may contain high levels of fructose, notwithstanding the nutrition panel on the packaging of such food products claims such products to be "high fructose free", and to inform consumers on how to utilize and interpret information on nutrition panels.
