AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID RATES FOR PRIMARY CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require that the current Medicaid rate for primary care services remain at the Medicare rate for such services to ensure an adequate number of providers to serve Medicaid recipients.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that an increase in Medicaid rates funded under the Affordable Care Act in 2013 and 2014 for primary care services remains notwithstanding the availability of additional federal funding.
