2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 815j of the general statutes be amended to provide that a guardian ad litem shall not be appointed in a family relations matter involving the care and custody of a minor child unless the Department of Children and Families has established that a party to the matter has committed acts of abuse or neglect with respect to a minor child.
