AN ACT CONCERNING A PILOT PROGRAM FOR INTERIM CARE FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program to provide Medicaid reimbursement to interim care facilities for Medicaid-eligible persons who do not require twenty-four-hour care but have health conditions that make it difficult for them to live alone.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow Medicaid-eligible persons with serious health conditions to live in a supportive, community setting.
