AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE INFORMATION DATA EXCHANGE SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require Connecticut to participate in the state information data exchange system to more efficiently verify an individual's employment history.
Statement of Purpose:
To enable the Labor Department to reduce incidents of fraud by increasing the exchange of employment information between Connecticut and the surrounding states.
