AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR CHARTER SCHOOL CAPITAL EXPENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (a) of section 10-66jj of the general statutes be amended to authorize the State Bond Commission to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state for the purpose of providing funds to state charter schools for capital expenses, in accordance with the provisions of section 10-66hh of the general statutes, in an amount of fifteen million dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, and fifteen million dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the capital funding for state charter schools.
